    Synonyms and Antonyms

    Synonyms:
    Synonyms are that words which are same in meaning like: Friend, Company, Buddy. They are synonyms of each others.

    Antonyms:
    Antonym means contradiction of a word. For example: Friend which antonyms are Enemy, Foe etc. where Enemy and Foe are contradictory of Friend.

    Synonym is Noun and a singular form; its plural form is "Synonyms". Synonym is a word or phrase that accurately or nearly mean the same of another word or phrase. Synonyms are different words but shows almost similar meanings, e.g.; buy - purchase (buy and purchase express same meaning).

    Antonym is Noun and a singular form; its plural form is 'Antonyms'. Antonym is a word that express opposite meaning to another word. So, Antonyms are words that provide the opposite of another word. e.g.; Synonym - Antonym (Synonym is opposite to Antonym) or, Good-Bad (Good is opposite to Bad).
